Acne & Acne Scars
Treatments and procedures to reduce acne scars vary depending on the complexion and severity of scarring. Among these procedures are:
- Radiofrequency: Stimulates the formation of new skin. Several treatments are required to improve the overall appearance of the skin and dramatically reduce acne scars.
- Fillers: Stretching out the skin by injecting Hyaluronic Acid (A natural acid made by our bodies) makes the scars appear less prominent.
- Chemical peels: Medium to Deep peels can be used to highly diminish acne scars.
Psoriasis
This skin disease manifests itself through red patches on the skin with white scaling, mainly on the scalp, elbows, hands, feet, knees, and genitalia. An all-inclusive and successful treatment with therapy and medication is offered at our clinic.
Warts
Many warts can be treated with chryotherapy using liquid nitrogen to induce freezing of the warts. The treated lesion will dry up and fall off about one week later. In some cases, certain creams may be prescribed to complement the chryotherapy. Dr. Khawand uses precision and attentive care to determine the best course for treatment and removal or warts.
